What vehicles do you work on?

We work on all petrol and diesel vehicles from 2001 onwards that are equipped with an OBD-II port. This covers the vast majority of cars on Irish roads. For hidden feature unlocking, we specialise in BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat/Cupra, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Toyota, and Lexus.

Do I need to bring my car to you?

Not necessarily. We offer both mobile and fixed-location services. Contact us to discuss the most convenient option for your situation.

How long does a scan take?

Accepted Answer

Most scans are completed within 30–60 minutes. A CarPlay or Android Auto installation typically takes 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle.

Will you clear the fault codes after scanning?

Accepted Answer

We can clear codes on request, but we always advise understanding the root cause first. Clearing codes without fixing the underlying issue will just bring the warning light back.

My warning light came on — is it serious?

It depends on the code. Some warnings are minor (a loose fuel cap, a sensor glitch) while others indicate something that needs immediate attention. The only way to know for sure is to scan the car. We'll pull every code, explain what each one means, and give you a clear priority assessment.

Can you tell me what repairs are needed?

Yes — after every scan we give you a plain-English explanation of what the codes mean and our recommended next steps. We don't do mechanical repairs ourselves, but we'll point you in the right direction so you know exactly what to ask your mechanic.

Is hidden feature unlocking safe for my car?

Yes — we only enable features that are already present in your vehicle's hardware and software. We never modify core safety systems, and all changes are fully reversible. We use the same professional-grade tools as main dealers.

Will it affect my warranty?

Coding changes are software-only and can be reversed before any warranty work. In practice, dealers rarely check coding logs, but we always advise customers to be aware of their warranty situation before proceeding.

Is my car compatible with all the features?

Not every car supports every feature — and that's completely normal. Hidden features are tied to the specific hardware fitted to your vehicle at the factory. For example, a car without a sunroof motor cannot have comfort window control for a sunroof, and a model without dedicated cornering lamp hardware simply will not have that option in its coding menu. Compatibility also varies by trim level, model year, and regional specification — the same car sold in different markets can have very different features available in its software. This is why we always recommend getting in touch with your registration number before booking. We will check exactly what is available for your specific car and give you a clear list of what can and cannot be done — so there are no surprises on the day.

How do I know what features are available on my car?

Can features be reversed if I don't like them?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every change we make is logged and fully reversible. If you decide you don't like a feature after we've enabled it, we can switch it back — usually at no extra charge within 30 days.

How long does hidden feature coding take?

Accepted Answer

Most single-feature coding jobs take 20–45 minutes. If you're booking multiple features at once, we can usually complete them all in a single session of around an hour.
